How cool is that?
So I got a cute award from fellow Bransforum-er (-ist? -ista?) Charlee Vale. And I really appreciate it! In response, I would like to recognize the following blogs that I also enjoy. The trick is that they have to have less than 200 followers – I have 2. And one of them is my Mother-in-Law (Hi Gael!).

Impudent Hatchlings by Hillary Jaques. I just found this blog and it is super funny. And I probably wouldn’t have found it if I hadn’t been following all the links generated by this award. So good job award-instigator!
Maybe Genius by SE Sinkhorn. I noticed she’s already gotten some of these, but I don’t care. I really like her blog. She’s insightful and SPECIFIC in her advice and I find that so, so useful.
Tell Great Stories by Sommer Leigh. She’s been talking a lot about art lately and I dig that. I had a writing professor in college who had us do literary analysis of art and I’ve never quite gotten over it. It actually sparked my interest in medieval illumination, which is now a (mostly useless) skill of mine. Art is my hero for physical metaphors.
After Troy by Hektor Karl. I know, I know. Everyone loves him and he’s already gotten a ton of these I’m sure. But I don’t care. He sounds all science-y and smart and I absolutely cannot resist that. Geek pride!
I have 4 – so sue me. I have several other favorites, but they all exceed the follower limit for this award. Bummer. Anyway, thanks to this award I spent a lot of yesterday following links and not working on my re-write (or baking cookies for my daughter’s preschool class). Whoops 🙂

Hi, back at cha! I love your blog especially the one on commas. I like reading about the struggle to be an artist in any medium. Which rhymns with tedium which is what making art can be when you are not in the zone. I have no babies and I still can’t get to my projects because I lack your self-discipline. Keep it up.
