Wow, people I don’t know actually read my blog…

How cool is that?

So I got a cute award from fellow Bransforum-er (-ist? -ista?) Charlee Vale. And I really appreciate it! In response, I would like to recognize the following blogs that I also enjoy. The trick is that they have to have less than 200 followers – I have 2. And one of them is my Mother-in-Law (Hi Gael!).

Anyway,ย The Liebster Blog award is given to bloggers with less than 200 followers, so time to spread the love! Naturally, the rules…

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top 3 picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Have faith that your followers will spread the love to other bloggers.
5. And most of all – have bloggity-blog fun!

Impudent Hatchlings by Hillary Jaques. I just found this blog and it is super funny. And I probably wouldn’t have found it if I hadn’t been following all the links generated by this award. So good job award-instigator!

Maybe Genius by SE Sinkhorn. I noticed she’s already gotten some of these, but I don’t care. I really like her blog. She’s insightful and SPECIFIC in her advice and I find that so, so useful.

Tell Great Stories by Sommer Leigh. She’s been talking a lot about art lately and I dig that. I had a writing professor in college who had us do literary analysis of art and I’ve never quite gotten over it. It actually sparked my interest in medieval illumination, which is now a (mostly useless) skill of mine. Art is my hero for physical metaphors.

After Troy by Hektor Karl. I know, I know. Everyone loves him and he’s already gotten a ton of these I’m sure. But I don’t care. He sounds all science-y and smart and I absolutely cannot resist that. Geek pride!

I have 4 – so sue me. I have several other favorites, but they all exceed the follower limit for this award. Bummer. Anyway, thanks to this award I spent a lot of yesterday following links and not working on my re-write (or baking cookies for my daughter’s preschool class). Whoops ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Thanks. Megan! And great choices for the other blogs mentioned on your list — I enjoy each one. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Thank you so much! I’m feeling so loved this week ๐Ÿ™‚ Sommer and Hektor are great. I’ll have to check out Hillary!

  3. Hi, back at cha! I love your blog especially the one on commas. I like reading about the struggle to be an artist in any medium. Which rhymns with tedium which is what making art can be when you are not in the zone. I have no babies and I still can’t get to my projects because I lack your self-discipline. Keep it up.
